Here at Vascroft's HQ, we decided to do something different this year and part-take in the World's Biggest Coffee Morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. We all got together and baked, created, donated and ate! We managed to raise an amazing £600 towards a charity that supports those who have unfortunately been diagnosed with cancer. We had loads of fun and look forward to doing it again!

Having used the Evolution system for over 20 years, Vascroft were already familiar with the advanced functionality available through Evolution M and needed no convincing of the abilities of the Integrity team having been supported by them for so long.  Vascroft were impressed by the Evolution M system demonstration given and felt the fully integrated structure, and the advanced reporting mechanisms available within the product best suited the business needs.

Our Vascroft Staff members, including our MD decided to embark on their biggest challenge to date - cycle from London, Richmond Gate Hotel to Paris' Eiffel Tower over three gruelling days - all in the name of charity! Their chosen charity was Diabetes UK, a cause close to our heart. Diabetes UK is the leading charity that cares for, connects with and campaigns on behalf of every person affected by or at risk of diabetes.

Vascroft are delighted to announce that collectively the team managed to raise over £25,000 for Diabetes UK!

 A massive congratulations to the whole team

Vascroft are proud to have just completed refurbishment works inside one of England’s largest houses. The lavish mansion is located just outside the sleepy village of Surrey Heath. Works included, internal alternation and refurbishment over four storeys inclusive of a basement area. The house which is fit for a king, also had all mechanical, electrical and plumbing works updated. As well as this, the original floors, walls and ceilings were refurbished with minor internal alterations to bring it up to standard.

On November 13th 2015, the Indian Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi addressed an audience of 60,000 at London Wembley Stadium for an extraordinary event. This was the largest event ever held  in England for a visiting politician and Vascroft were one of the proud organisers.

As Narendra Modi was visiting from not-so-cold India, he would be inevitably feeling the biting chill of the British November winter. For the pure purpose of his comfort, Vascroft Contractors designed and build a special heated podium from which Narendra Modi as well as David Cameron will stand and speak from. This consisted of  a heated stand on which the PM's hands rested upon whilst he was reading aloud from his notes.

Well done to Chandni Vora for successfully completing her cycle challenge. We know that it’s not always an easy task, especially when one is trying to juggle training, work, family and other commitments, so a big Congratulations from VCL for a commendable cause and we are proud to have you as member of our team!

 Chandni’s comments after the event;

 "It’s been four weeks since the challenge and the official photos have been finally released…..and YES I DID IT!   It was one of the hardest challenges that I have taken on to date. I am totally overwhelmed that I managed to get across the finish line.  The driving factors that led to the achievement of this task were self-motivation, endurance, sense of achievement and the ‘don’t give up attitude’ and all this combined led to me achieving the milestone in 8 hours with only 3 months of training.  I was lucky to be connected to the Shishikunj team for Sunday training, however, my training only started from early May this year hence was concerned whether I will be able to do the challenge.  The furthest I had done in the past was 56 miles (London to Brighton) some 2 years ago.  Finding the time for training was both tricky and difficult especially being a working mum of two young girls.  I was, therefore, hitting the gym in my early morning spin classes at 5.30 am to catch up on my weekly mileage.  It was a personal challenge and I wanted to give my time (Sewa concept) to raise funds for Nepal.  Last year I went to Kailash Mansarovar to scatter my Late Arjan Kaka’s ashes and was very touched by the people of Nepal and their Sherpas.  Hearing of the earthquake in Nepal struck a personal chord.  So far my supporters have been able to contribute £1,400 towards my challenge (nearly double my initial target). I am pleased all these people had faith in me.  A Special heartfelt thanks goes to all that supported me in various forms for this enduring task. Looking forward to my next challenge" - CHANDNI VORA

Vascroft Contractors Ltd participated  in the 4th edition Prideview Cricketers Cup tournament held on the 18th July 2015. The aim of the event, organised by Prideview properties, was to raise as much money as possible for Big Hug Foundation, a small charity with a mission to help underprivileged children in South Asia. Despite being the ‘new boys’ in the tournament that was contested by 12 teams , Vascroft demonstrated their cricketing prowess and were able to win the Prideview Champions Trophy at their first attempt. Well done to the team members and a big thank you to all that came to support us on the day. Our next target is to win the Prideview Cricketers Cup 2016!
