The project consists of additions and alterations to existing building at Kensington, London for Kensington Close Hotel. The existing building is a 7-storybuilding with basement and ground floors. This presently house 550 guestrooms.

The proposed alterations include additional floor at level eight, new fire stairs and lifts and minor demolitions to internal walls. In addition 5 blocks are to be connected to the main structure to form new guestrooms. Part of the basement will be used for a car park and the rest will be used for the hotel. The new building will be raised from first floor whilst columns are raised from ground level.

The new extension and alterations will accommodate 172 additional guestrooms, eventually forming 722 guestrooms in total.
