Founded Vascroft Contractors Ltd
with his brother Arjan in January 1977 to carry out building projects as a main contractor. Shashi has over 37 years expertise in the business, which is invaluable. He has a vast array of knowledge and experience, and has successfully completed demanding projects requiring sound technical knowledge. His knowledge includes complex underpinning to basement excavations three floors below ground level, keeping the facades of listed buildings intact, and constructing around suspended single parts of buildings. Shashi takes pride in knowing all his staff personally and thrives on keeping the cogs ticking operationally. His can-do and hands-
on attitude has played a major role in Vascroft’s success.
