Conversion of a Grade II listed building originally the largest and oldest Magistrate Court into a 5-star hotel in the quirky West end neighboring Carnaby Street. As the building is a listed building some of its original features have been retained and incorporated around the hotel such as the prison cells, construction of this aspect of the prison cell bar was a sheer marvel and engineering feat in Vascroft’s history and stands strong in the company ethos to challenge the status quo.

Our expert site team were involved in retaining the front Grade II listed Court Building facade, demolition of the rear building, cut and carve around the existing prison cell, jet grout party walls, and create two levels of the basement plus six additional floors of RC frame building for hotel staff and guest bedrooms. The guest bedrooms and public areas along with the reception front and back of the house were completed to the high exacting brand standards to our client’s satisfaction.
