About the project

Vascroft successfully delivered the transformation of Stewart House in Kenton, Harrow, completing the project at the end of 2024. This ambitious development showcased our commitment to quality and innovation. The works comprised a complete strip-out and refurbishment of a three-storey office building, expertly converted into high-end residential apartments. Two additional floors were constructed atop the existing structure, creating new roof plant areas, a spacious roof terrace, and a third-floor terrace.

The project involved complex demolition, including the removal of internal walls and the existing lift shaft, as well as the formation of new slab penetrations to accommodate upgraded service routes. The change-of-use conversion resulted in 70 beautifully finished apartments delivered to an exceptional standard.

The awarded scope of works includes the design and construction services for the refurbishment of the existing Imperial Hotel.

In addition to the main building, the development included the demolition of an adjacent warehouse, replaced with eight contemporary townhouses, integrated parking, secure cycle storage, and urban landscaping designed to enhance the local environment. A new commercial unit was also built to contribute to the vibrancy of the area.

This project reflects Vascroft’s ethos of working in partnership with clients to deliver excellence, quality, and value while prioritising sustainability and community impact.
