This year marks 49 years of Vascroft; a milestone that reflects a legacy built on people, principles, and pride in the work.
Vascroft began with two brothers and a shared belief that quality craftsmanship, delivered with integrity, would endure. With clearly defined roles (one focused on technical delivery, the other on commercial responsibility), the business was built on balance, trust, and a long-term mindset.
That foundation allowed Vascroft to grow steadily, earning its reputation project by project while remaining true to its original values.
A Business Built on People
Though the business has grown in scale, its family ethos remains central. Today, that culture extends across the wider Vascroft team, where experience is valued, knowledge is shared, and people are supported to deliver work to the highest standard. Long-standing relationships, both internally and externally, underpin the consistency and confidence with which Vascroft operates.
Community and Giving Back
From the outset, Vascroft has believed that success brings a responsibility to give back. Through the Vascroft Foundation and company-led initiatives, the business has supported charitable, cultural, and community causes in the UK and internationally.
A long-standing example is the Navchetan Adhjan Mandal charity in Kutch, which celebrated its 50th Golden Anniversary on 25 December 2025. The Vascroft Foundation has supported the charity since its inception, reflecting decades of sustained, values-led commitment.
Vascroft Foundation has also proudly supported healthcare initiatives, such as the recent 25th Jubilee of the MMPJ Hospital, Bhuj, under the Shree Kutchi Leva Patel Education and Medical Trust, reinforcing a long-term commitment to education, medical care, and community wellbeing.
Vascroft has also supported community sport, including VCL cricket initiatives within the SKLPC community, marking 40 years of the cricket team and their recent tour of India, reinforcing the role of sport in building connection and opportunity.
During times of crisis, Vascroft has stepped forward. Following the Gujarat earthquake on 26 January 2001, VCL acted as the London headquarters for relief coordination, supporting efforts in Mumbai and Kutch. Founders Shashi and the late Arjan, as well as Managing Director Mitesh, served as key communication points during this period.
Vascroft continues to support cultural initiatives that bring communities together, including Bhajan Jamming, taking place on Sunday, 8 February 2026 at Byron Hall, Harrow – a celebration of music, unity, and shared values.
Looking Ahead
As Vascroft approaches its 50th year, its focus remains unchanged: delivering quality work, fostering strong relationships, and operating with integrity.
After 49 years, Vascroft stands shaped by its past, strengthened by its people, and committed to making a positive impact, through its work and the communities it supports.
