About the project

Vascroft commenced works at the Trafalgar St James Hotel, Spring Gardens, London. Overlooking the iconic Trafalgar Square, this comprehensive refurbishment project is being delivered within an occupied, operational hotel through a carefully phased programme.

On the ground floor, works include the installation of a new entrance canopy, complete refurbishment of the reception and public areas, and the integration of a new DDA-compliant sesame lift. The Rockwell Bar will be revitalised along with improvements to stairwell access throughout the public spaces.

In the basement, existing office space is being converted to create six new guest bedrooms, while the sixth floor will see the addition of a new accessible WC facility.

Vascroft’s team are working collaboratively with the client’s design team to ensure the project meets the high standards of the Curio Collection by Hilton brand.
