About the project

Trident Point, Harrow, successfully completed cladding rectification works in 2024. The team took pride in ensuring that all current building fire and acoustic regulations were met, with resident safety remaining a top priority throughout the project. This was a logistically challenging scheme, positioned on a major arterial route through Harrow, Middlesex, adjacent to the TfL network.

The project involved the removal of all non-compliant materials from the building’s elevations, including existing timber cladding, Aluminium Composite Material (ACM) trespass panels, balcony timber decking, and phenolic insulation behind brickwork and render.

Façade rectification works included the installation of new cavity barriers and window and door cavity barriers across the property. The building was then re-clad with new A1-rated cladding panels, timber-effect fire-rated cladding, and new balcony decking.

The property comprises a nine-storey building with a Morrisons supermarket occupying the ground, first, and second floors, and residential flats above. Originally built in 2012 with a reinforced concrete frame on piled foundations, it combines brickwork, render, and ACM panels.
