His recognition was commended by the judging panel as a mentor in the Construction industry and his selfless service to the Asian Diaspora and community at large as a Ugandan Asian immigrant making the UK his home in the 70’s.

Shashi Bhai has helped organise and deliver PM Modi events in the UK and Europe and has constructed numerous luxury hotels, community buildings and high end residential projects in and around London and the Home Counties.
He is a trustee of several charities around the world and in particular the Navchetan Disabled School in Kutch India and Patron of the Shree Kutch Leva Patel Community UK as well as Board Advisory trustee for the Indian Arts & Cultural heritage centre The Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kensington.
